Nice, I have never heard of them before but I need to look them up
I feel as if Emmie is right though lol this thread is mostly metal so I'll throw in a song from my childhood. Should be a good few who remember it.

I'd start with Woods 5 and go backwards, honestly. Their earlier style is much more black metal than its doom-esque style in Woods 5. Woods 4/5 are masterpieces, though. Woods 3 is still good, as is Allure of the Sun, but still!

I love that song!

Ulver! They went from black metal, to folk, to raw black metal, to... whatever they want to!
Loving the metal here. Big Grin

I'm into most stuff that falls under the rock & metal banners, but at the moment Rise Against are possible my favourite band.

This isn't my #1 favourite song by them, but I think it is one of their hardest hitting.

its an old one but Type O neg, "love you to death" A bit of old school Goth!

Been one of my favorite songs for a long time!
Not my favourite band by a long way, and certainly not my preferred style, but knowing them personally I feel inclined to post this.

The 'lyrics': "You suffer, but why?"

You know ND? I loved them about 5-6 years ago, but not really heard anything since, "we are not worthy!"

A bit tame compared to some of the posts here, but Metallica "for whom the bell tolls" S&M version.

The orchestra in the background gives another dimension to the song
