Hmm, nice lists. There are some here mentioned I saw and liked too. Two that I enjoyed almost as much as Tangled were the Treasure Planet and Big Hero 6.

I don't know the order for a list of movies but here are a few of mine

Tangled
Big Hero 6
Treasure Planet
Good Fellas
The Godfather
Fight Club
Predestination
Primer (it kinda messed up with my head with all the time jumps xD)
Looper
Casablanca (yeah yeah, it's old but I liked it :3)

A nice topic Cath! And it's really interesting to see what other people like to watch.

As for the movies I enjoy watching, I could say that, they are as follows, not necessary in this order:

-The Lord of the Rings Trilogy;
-Star Wars;
-Gladiator;
-The Shawshank Redemption;
-Armageddon;
-Inception;
-The Departed;
-Leon;

And there are many more, but I can't think of all right now.

As for series, Lie to Me was one that I enjoyed. And recently, started watching The Night Of miniseries. An interesting crime/drama show.

A lot of favourite movies, many of them already mentioned by someone somewhere in this thread. I don't really gravitate towards a certain genre, my movies of choice are all over the place.

Some great movies that haven't been mentioned here yet:
- Gran Torino
- The Pianist
- Memento
- The Road to El Dorado
- aaaand.... The Princess Bride (don't laugh... it's a great movie Blush )

Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.
Big Grin

Fitting movies for this place:
  • The lover (Jean-Jacques Annaud, 1992)
  • The pillow book (Peter Greenaway, 1996)
  • Happy together (Wong Kar Wai, 1997)
  • Warm water under a red bridge (Shohei Imamura, 2001)
  • Secretary (Steven Shainberg, 2002)
Making a girl smile can be much more rewarding than bedding her...

The Boondock Saints I and II are prolly my absolute favorites, with Django: Unchained making a close third.

Something about two irish brothers going around and giving criminals a very bad day just tickles my fancy.
