Economy balance discussion
(11-29-2017, 09:01 PM)Avax69 Wrote: An unreal amount of time to make 5k in the game? You do realize that within like the 5-10 mins it takes to do the gloryhole minigame you can make like 150-300 depending on your score. So with simple math in an hour or so that's like 1k-3k. Then there's the shooting gallery in which I myself tend to avg about 128 or something like that, and that takes like 3-5 mins tops to do. So again where is the unreal grind? I mean yeah it's annoying to have to do but if you really do want money in the game it is a grind no matter what you do or if you're premium or not.

You think 5-10 hours of grinding the same mini-games just to experience a new update is ok? By your math, thats also something between 30-50 hours for an apartment.

The only argument I see here is "well it takes so long for updates to come out so you have plenty of time to spread the grinding out" - and that just points out an even bigger issue.

I feel like this only proves my point. Mini-games don't give enough money to balance out the extreme costs of new content. Pay real money or grind for hours - maybe Nutaku already owns this game.

I've been resisting getting involved in this discussion. But here's all I have to contribute.
We play this game to have fantasy sex.
The game should be designed to have more sex and not more hard work trying to make money.

Hence I did not vote for Strip Poker, which will ultimately cause me to lose money. instead I preferred games that alleviated the money issue like
Sperm Banks Daily reward,
Interest in Cum Compounded interest on your money working for you
Live sex shows make money while you have sex
Sex exp point exchange for sex which rewards you with money because you had lots of sex.

Instead the masses voted to gamble. We'll see how rewarding that is.
Clearly the current Mini-games are not paying out enough relative to the cost of items. also I have a life outside of the game I can't commit to a part time job in the game.

I am hoping that the devs produce a rewarding strip poker and possibly their own version of a rewarding Mini-game to alleviate the burden.

As far as the premium alt-farming for income. That can't last too long it's just eating up server space and limiting the number of avatars we can truly enjoy. I suggest they just directly give premiums a daily login bonus of $1k so we don't have to alt-farm.

Devs should be enhancing our sex life. not draining our limited game time with in game work.

Everyone myself included has said that the mini games don't offer enough pay or take too long or are inconsistent to be good ways to make money. Now I'm not saying this is right, but it does not take 50 hours to make that much money, 30 hours perhaps but even that seems highly unlikely. I mean idk where you're getting your numbers from but I literally said that within an hour you can make like anywhere from 1k-3k possibly even 5k if you're that good. That's max 10-20 hours of grinding. That's even leaving out the whole possibilty that some of them make a new avatar a day and transfer themselves 1k daily. Point is in the end you either do the grind or you don't, if you're complaining so much either wait til something has changed to improve the situation or could always just leave the game. Because in the end unless a non premium player buys premium this really only affects premium players. We're the ones that can buy outfits, new poses, and the apartments. Because 1k-3k is enough for non prems to get by unless they buy ALOT of different colors on their outfits and hats or pay for sex since that seems to be a big thing nowadays in game.

Ajax does have a point alot of the updates only apply to premiums which have the ability to produce at least $1k per day, if they choose.

Non Prems can probably make enough for their needs easily, they have little to spend on.

Prems can make $1000 per day but only if they have a free slot. I don’t and don’t want to delete a lvl 10 AV to do so.

$2,500 for an hour in a mini-game seems to be my estimate also: but we should be playing game rather than trying to get money for costumes or poses.

Honestly, after the change, I quit and went to another game for a while. Was more expensive than the premium here but there was NO monetary system so the game was purely driven by meeting people and playing with them. Was never great at making money in game here so the 'tainted money' in circulation helped me even be able to play considering how such a large ratio of the female av's are escorts. I made a few friends who weren't out for IG money and once they left, so did I. Coming back, I've been able to make more friends fairly easy as it seem IG money does not drive the game as much. Rewards could be better especially as themed in game content is released (Christmas outfits, Halloween etc.) and costs money, I'd prefer to be able to run and grab at least one of each garment without breaking the bank so I can get back to MEETING and FUCKING...

The funny thing about all this, was in the beginning, people were complaining about alt farming being an issue and people having too money. Now it’s the lack of money and how hard it is to obtain it, more or less, it seems that people would prefer to do it now again, since the devs haven’t come up with a solution... the irony is uncanny...

I approve of this!

The Devs need to come up with a solution - Alt farming is not a good solution just a temporary fix.
The aim of the game should be to have sex, not to work to pay for items or updates.
The bottom line is the Devs also need to make money to produce this game. It is a business not charity.
So more people need to sign up for premium to support the Dev's efforts.
otherwise they keep making things expensive to entice you to pay real money to get in-game money.
In either case, the Devs need to improve their output to encourage more premium signup. And to do that they need to provide better paying mini-games so that people don't feel like they are being scammed.
It's a two-way street, Devs improving quality with members agreeing to pay premium. That's why increasing communication between members, moderators & Devs is crucial. Working together on a good plan.

I am with you, this is a business, and a key to any good business is communication with your customers. The devs can't handle criticism, even constructively, which is why they cut off all communication with us only months after the game was released.

Take a month and a half to release updates, that's fine and fits their business model, but throw us a bone FFS. Weekly communication, directly from the devs, not this hush-hush runaround we get now, thats what this game needs. Nothing extravagant either, just a little "Hey, we are working on this thing, no ETA yet, but we exist" would ease most of the community frustrations.
