yup better coordination & communication would work wonders here.....

I just had a funny thought, have any of you since a Wicked porn DVD lately. At the beginning of every Wicked DVD is a talk from members of the porn community encouraging people not to download pirated videos. somewhere in there Ron Jeremy says "we want you to enjoy our videos, we just need you to pay for them" then Kaylani Lei says "cause if no one is willing to pay for them then we won't be able to make them" She has me sold right there. I'm like no baby please don't stop making them, ok ok I'll pay...LOL....it's kinda like that here. The Devs need us to pay for the investment. the difference here is we need the Devs to improve their output. And at the very least improve communication so we can all be on the same page with our expectations.

I'm with you on this one, and I like one of Lady Alexa's suggestions from a while back. Premiums should be rewarded more for investing in the game. I've been paying $11/month for almost a year now. I feel like out of the $130 I've paid, I haven't gotten much out of the game that I could have gotten for free. Sure, I may not have access to cosmetics (which I love, but could ultimately live without); but my biggest annoyance is how the paywalls to new content just seems to go up and up. The threesome poses were the first to do this with a 2-3k exp paywall. Ultimately that seems reasonable to me. Come the apartments and the user-made Egyptian outfit, 50k and 5k respectively. I dunno, I just don't understand the reasoning behind this. My two guesses are; A) They're attempting to coerce players into spending money through the microtransactions or B) They're basing it on the average player's funds. Anyhoo, finishing the tangent, I feel like there's no attempt on behalf of the devs to make a game that's enjoyable and profitable for them. There needs to be more communication. I'm not saying we need a podcast every month like Warframe for example, but we need to see devs make an effort to at least listen.
DarkMagicMaster master makes the important point that this money was in circulation which helped all players. I don’t recall so many escorts back then either.

JohnSins is correct too because it was bringing money into game and it was circulating.

Not sure how someone having a lot of money harmed me anyway. They could have more outfits and definitely could outbid me at an auction but I think most players benefitted from that extra money.

As proncain said, do you really want to play mini-game for 4 hours just to get last updated position? I don’t so only have new position for one AV not all.
I agree with Overfiend generally, especially where he says, “The aim of the game should be to have sex, not to work to pay for items or updates.”

But I think he is wrong when he says, “Alt farming is not a good solution just a temporary fix.” I don’t think that it was meant to be either: just something the Devs had not realised people might do.

Better premium content would encourage more people to sign up but not if they then can’t afford the positions or outfits.

Maybe this would work. Outfit for prems cost $500: non prems can also buy (maybe only certain ones) for $1000. Maybe a charge for non-prems buying prem poses.

It probably won’t work as people will sign up for cheaper deal then lapse prem.
Ya see the issue in the game atm I hear from lots of people isn't making money, it's how boring(and "long") it takes to make money. Simply put if people earned more from the current mini games or a new gun and decent paying mini game got added it'd get rid of ALOT of the current complaints. Yes there'll still be people that complain but there'd be less hopefully. Now I'm not saying this excuses the expensive outfit(s)/apartments/poses, but it'd make them hopefully easier to get and overall make earning money in the game feel less like a chore and more well fun. Granted the casino can be fun or less grindy but it's very hit and miss with whether or not you'll come out on top or deeper in the red. Which brings me back to the same point I make everytime I come to this thread make the games payments/ways to make money be more consistent and less skill/luck based. Sure they could raise the payouts but that would probably affect the current price of items or clothes in the game currently.
If some people spent more time trying to meet other people and have fun with them instead of worrying about getting this or that pose/outfit/whatever-else-they-release nobody would be complaining about the money xD

And i even think that having expensive things to buy in the game and not having an easy way to get them fast is a good thing.

If we hadn't the expensive stuff why would some people buy codes to sell them ingame? They wouldn't need that much ingame money because they wouldn't have a way to spend it or they could get it easily ingame.

I think you forget that for some people, part of the fun is  the various sex poses and outfits for RP purposes. Maybe for you those things don't matter, but for others they do. You can't just come in with your subjective opinion and expect that to match everyone else's.
I don't expect that my opinion matches everyone else's, if there weren't different opinions life would be really boring. I just gave my subjective opinion about the matter.

For me it is quite hard to understand why some people give that much importance to the money and other stuff that you can get in the game.

Of course, I didn't mean to be rude. I appreciate that you voice how some people don't care at all about money.

While some people think like you, I guess the amount of pages this thread has is telling as to how many people really do care about a balanced economy; I, for one, belong to that camp.
I liked buying the clothes for each AV and the poses were just xp. Now I buy less, just one of each.
