Sails of Love
#1
I am venturing in unfamiliar waters here, if you'll pardon the pun... my lady inspired a different direction to my writings, and the result is what you see below... an odd mixture of my habitual penchant for poetic courtship with an adventurous tone inspired by Sabatini's epics. It is far from perfect, but there you have it. Rolleyes

Sails of Love

I can hear the call of the ocean, whispering
to us; the cerulean waves of the sea beckon,
we must not linger; the tide's already rising
And our journey awaits yonder still. I reckon

The trade winds favor us; our tall ship is ready
To set sail toward plunder and glory. Avast,
my dearest mate! Lower the mainsail fully,
Mind the wheel, watch the mizzen topgallant, and last,

Keep a sharp eye on the horizon! Together,
my love, we shall follow in the wake of canny
old Cofresi; raiding fortalezas all over
Hispaniola's verdant coast, sinking ungainly

Spanish galleons relieved of their booty of gold,
Only to spend it all on a night of torrid
pleasure and revel in Tortuga, at the old
Cayona Inn... oh my love, it will be splendid...

Let's repair to the forecastle now, to study
The old charts and plot a new course; yet beforehand
Come to my cabin, mi querida... come with me
To explore further each other's private island,

And, buoyed by our rising lust, reach together
The orgasmic spot marked by a red triple X...
Such pleasure is the stuff of legend, dear lover;
No pirate ever experienced such epic sex!
