Hello people,

I once again have a little something to share with you. My dear Muse had to take a step back from our community to deal with reality's obligations... It inspired this evolving piece of poetry; I plan on adding a few stanzas every day until she returns...

Days of longing...

Yesterday night we met, one last dance, one last kiss;
I had to be with you, before your long absence,
Had to partake in one last evening of pure bliss
In your arms, basking in your delightful presence,
Urgency overtaking me... I'd be remiss
Not to seize the moment's uplifting quintessence.

    I miss you so much already, mi diosa encantadora;
    My love, I shall count the endless days to come until we meet once more,
    Daydreaming of us together frolicking at La Playuela,
    Making sweet and passionate love under the blazing sun by the shore,
    A gentle ocean breeze caressing our wet, naked bodies heaving...
    Clinging to those intimate images of lust shall ease my waiting.


 *MONDAY*

I awoke to a dark, greyish dawn; 'twas raining,
Heavy clouds smothering all the sun's feeble light.
Grey too, felt my soul, afflicted by creeping blight
Named solitude. I abided long, oft thinking

    Of you, wondering in quiet contemplation
    What you were doing, or if you were sound and well;
    Through the gloom however, a hope: my thoughts did dwell
    On your smile, soothing my heart. Anticipation

 Still lingered, and I oft wandered about the Land
Revisiting our familiar haunts, retracing
our steps, thinking of the good times, imagining
Where we would reunite, wandering hand in hand...
