Full Version: I'm not sorry, though I wish you didn't hurt

I walk through life oblivious,
Though I strain my eyes to see,
Wander half my paths insensate,
Though I yearn this not to be,
And then,
Again.

A contact made by fleeting chance,
A new old kinship wild, free,
Wander down a path together,
And I yearn for this to be,
And then,
Again.

A whispered word, a treasured friend,
Once more I have caused pain,
I can't repent, I will not change,
Though I wish them to be free,
How I yearn for that to be.

I write better from pathos than joy and this has been weighing on me, though I know you have told me it should not. I hope that this poem lets those that read it take a glimpse at what your friendhsip means to me.
Aww… it's okay! I don't know who you hurt, but I'm sure it'll be just fine.
Thanks Cath. I think it likely will be, the gentlemen in question are wonderful people.
Dear Kyrios,

To quote Star Trek: The Next Generation... Brothers forgive. (Season 4, episode 3 "Brothers").

As Cath said, I'm sure the aforementioned gentlemen agree with me on this.

Ivan

P.S. A beautiful composition, my friend; let pathos inspire you as often as required - from darkness doth the light shines at its brightest...
*Basks in the praise*
This poem makes me kind of sadder than ever now as one person to whom it was addressed no longer speaks with me. I miss you my friend.
I am so sad to hear that my dear Kyr, but, it's life, right?
*hugs and kisses*
