He rose again when they approached, for once was not alone,
Anelahk took him by the hand and made a soft remark,
Clasped strong hands in deep respect and new affection grown,
In liberation of each town, sing blade and dragon bark.
Anelahk showed Axela secrets of steel and spark,
Axela taught the dragons to dance and do their part,
Yet when she came to use the forge and so to make her mark,
Anelahk showed a masters skills, talent could not outsmart.
Upon the battleground, Axela danced with skill set apart,
When the screams had died she smiled, talked and made light jest,
Wit and beauty she aimed like a spear at Soiryk's heart.
To win him against Anelahk became for her a test.
