Economy balance discussion
(Reposted from another thread)

I think it is pretty obvious what is happening as far as the economy is concerned. They introduce a Real Money conversion and then the next few updates we get are:

$4000 for a sex pose - money was never needed before
$50,000 for an apartment
$5000 for an outfit, when the most expensive before was $1200 I believe
and the rodeo suddenly starts acting up

This is a cash grab, because the only way to get this amount of money (without having stashed a ton in the past using other accounts) is to buy it.

Expect to see more of this, and once again, I truly hope I am wrong.

Everyone talks about the rodeo acting up, but honestly it's only weird with me if my connection is bad. And the Glory Hole game works just fine. And regarding the thing about having a ton stashed might be why stuff is starting to cost a bunch of money. Like I said in the other thread, people started to have so much money it became an issue and the rewards doled out by minigames were just chump change. I wouldn't be surprised to see a few more expensive updates (like with stuff costing 3k or more) and then we get a new minigame or just something to make more money, once they think that they fixed the inflation a bit.
Am I wrong 'cuz I wanna get it on til' I die?

if we get more updates but expensive I can accept that because its more fun in the game , but I think we need more games for making money...

Rodeo can cut a couple of seconds off so if you did 21” it drops to 19” and you get $10 not $20.

Mini-games pay out $2,500-3,000 per hour which has always been the problem. Even on a minimum wage you can now buy 3 times that amount. And people are saying the casino now pays out less. It all seems geared to getting people to buy in game money for real money.

What was the problem with people having a stash of money anyway? Auction prices are down so there is probably less money going from richer to poorer players. Ok, now you might have more chance purchasing if you do not have a stash. Girls now are often charging for sex which no one used to do. Positively, that means a low level can get experience points that they probably could not before.

$5,000 for an outfit is not going to worry most with a stash as they often have huge amounts: it affects players without a stash far more. And many of them would be new players.

I read through this thread and my $0.02 is that this trend isn't going away anytime soon.

In just the last few months:
BDSM outfit $1200 ish
New FF Pose $4000
Apartment $50000
New FM Pose $0
New F Outfit $5000
New FFM Pose $10000

So, since May 5/6ths of new updates have cost over $1000.
It seems pretty clear to me that the development team is saying "if you want to play with the newest toys either grind a lot of minigames or spend real money."

Not saying it's good or bad, but it's clearly the trend.

I can answer that for you, the trend is bad.

The devs added micro payments to a game that already has a subscription.

Is it bad? i mean as a premium player whether you're male or female you can pretty easily make 1k-10k if you really tried to. I'm not saying that i like this trend but the only overpriced thinsg here really is the latest female outfit, possibly the ffm pose, and the apartment, but with the addition of a strap-on for the ffm pose i can see why they'd make it more expensive for potential possible future ff poses made. the bdsm outfit i wouldn't even consider overpriced since it's only $200 additional from other premium outfits. So with that all said do I think some things overpriced yes, but for some things i can understand the possible reasoning for it, still don't like it nor do you have to, but I'm purely pointing things from my view whether you agree with or not is your choice. Besides with at least 2 other mini-games being worked on who knows how much money or how easily it'll be make money with those new mini-games.

I created a new avatar 2 weeks ago and yes you still start with $1,000 if you have Premium. My new avatar was my 6th one and the one I've been mainly using lately. I've been thinking of takeing my original avatar and selling all her clothes, transferring the money and deleting  her. I don't use her anymore but I also don't want to get rid of her.

I'm afraid it's going to keep going up. I was trying to think of how the Strip Poker mini game is going to work if that's coming next. Obviously if it's strip poker the characters need to be stripped until naked so why do I have a feeling they'll be adding muilt-layer outfits that will be required to play? That will probably be another 10k.

It would be nice if the 10k strap-on eventually got reused for more poses to make the price worth it. Have lesbian poses that use it and a fm femdom pose. But instead of that we'll probably get a lesbian pose called "Back Door Adventure" or something that requires a butt plug and anal beads for 15k.

You are right, except on the "grind minigames" part because, I haven't done the math, but it would take an unreal amount of time for someone to grind out $5000 just from the minigames available.

They want more money. They want premium players, who already pay a sub, to shell out money for each new update and you know what, it's their game and they can do what they want, but its clear that at some point a paradigm shift occurred with the devs. They were on a good, albeit slow, path in the beginning needing only sex exp to get new poses, which made you have to play more when new stuff came out. Now, just throw money at them. Sure sex exp is still needed, but everyone's already got that to spare, because it takes so long for new content that most people are maxed out by the time something else does come out.

The economy is now that of real money. The apartment's don't cost $50,000 in game, they cost $50 USD. Start looking at it like that and the greed becomes evident.

An unreal amount of time to make 5k in the game? You do realize that within like the 5-10 mins it takes to do the gloryhole minigame you can make like 150-300 depending on your score. So with simple math in an hour or so that's like 1k-3k. Then there's the shooting gallery in which I myself tend to avg about 128 or something like that, and that takes like 3-5 mins tops to do. So again where is the unreal grind? I mean yeah it's annoying to have to do but if you really do want money in the game it is a grind no matter what you do or if you're premium or not.
